Janoon ("Janoon", "we", "us") provides school management software to educational institutions in Pakistan. This policy explains how we handle personal information across our website and platform. Our registered office is A-54, Rafah Aam Housing Society, Malir Halt, Karachi.
Account & contact data: names, email addresses, phone numbers, and school details provided when you request a demo, contact us, or set up an account.
School operational data: student, staff, guardian, attendance, fee, and examination records that a school enters into or uploads to the platform. Schools are the owners and controllers of this data; Janoon processes it on their behalf.
Usage data: log data, device and browser information, and analytics used to operate and improve the service.
To provide, maintain, and secure the platform; to respond to enquiries and demo requests; to process billing; to provide support; and to comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use student data for advertising.
We share data only with service providers that help us run the platform (such as cloud hosting and communication providers) under confidentiality obligations, and where required by law. Schools control who within their institution can access their data.
We protect data using encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular backups. We retain school data for as long as the account is active and for a limited period afterward, after which it is deleted or anonymised on request.
Schools and individuals may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data, subject to the school's role as data controller. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
